📢 Big news for the parish and town council sector! We have launched NALC's Online Resource Assistant (NORA). A groundbreaking AI-powered tool transforming how our members access trusted information and guidance.
🤖 Designed specifically for parish and town councils, NORA brings together the power of AI with NALC's extensive sector knowledge and expertise. Members can ask questions in plain English and receive clear answers grounded in our trusted resources.
đź’¬ No need to know the title of an advice note, the correct search terms or the terminology used in a publication. Tell NORA what you want to know, ask follow-up questions and explore the topic through conversation.
🔎 From council meetings and governance to employment and finance, NORA can help members find relevant information across a wide range of topics. Each answer links to the NALC resources used, making it easy to check the source and read more.
âś… Unlike general-purpose AI tools that draw information from across the internet, NORA is grounded in resources developed specifically for parish and town councils. It offers members a more trusted and relevant way to use AI.
⚡ This significant investment in member support will help parish and town councils get answers faster, find guidance more easily, save valuable time, explore topics through conversation and use AI with greater confidence.
🤝 NORA complements the support and professional advice provided by NALC and county associations. It is currently included as part of our membership and available to logged-in users, subject to fair use.
🚀 By bringing trusted sector knowledge together with the power of AI, NORA opens an exciting new chapter in how we support parish and town councils to serve their communities.
