I’m a creative and intelligent woman with multiple disabilities looking for one or more quick-thinking, capable and practical Personal Assistants/Support Workers with a positive, can-do attitude.
The role is about providing flexible support with aspects of daily life that are difficult because of my disabilities. I have severe ME/CFS alongside multiple allergies, neurodivergence and mobility difficulties. Because I live with fluctuating energy and post-exertional malaise, I need support that genuinely reduces how much I have to physically and mentally hold together myself.
The role includes cooking and batch cooking; shopping and carefully checking ingredients and allergens; cleaning and household tasks; practical help with admin and organisation; and support attending appointments and outings with my mobility scooter.
You must be willing to work fragrance-free due to severe allergies and sensitivities. A full driving licence is desirable, and ideally you will be able to drive a manual car with a ramp and help load mobility equipment.
Most shifts are likely to be 1–4 hours, usually during the morning or through lunchtime.
