What can you expect if you join us at Somerset Pregnancy Circle?

Well, you can expect honesty. About birth, motherhood, weird things your body does in pregnancy/postnatally.

You can expect relaxation. A chance to switch off from the outside, do a little crafting, bask in the medicine that is being with other women.

You can expect to meet other people at the same stage of life as you. Other mums who understand how you're feeling, who want to support and be supported.

You can expect an introduction to the magic that is Kerry. Her hypnobirthing magic is a firm favourite with the women we have hung out with.

A safe space, where you are welcomed and held, where you can just be yourself. No masks, no expectations, just support.

Kerry and Georgina.
The heart of it all.

Kerry and I are birthworkers, but we're mothers first. And we remember how lonely, intense, weird, isolating pregnancy can feel.

So, we created the space we wish we had.

Pregnancy can feel like there's suddenly a lot to think about. Appointments, decisions, birth, baby, what you should be doing, what everyone else thinks you should be doing.

But..what about you?

The pregnancy circle is a little space to slow down, breathe, talk, ask questions, share experiences and connect with other mums-to-be.

THINGS I WISH I HAD FOUND OUT EARLIER

You don't need all the answers
You can find a village if you look
You aren't somehow failing by asking questions
Preparing for birth doesn't need to feel terrifying
You are allowed to feel however you feel without judgement.
