Our lovely tutor Kate at the Ready, Set, School! event at the Chestnut Centre.
�� READY, SET, SCHOOL! ��
As we approach September and many children prepare to start their school journey, we were delighted to bring together families, schools and local services for our Ready, Set, School event at Chestnut Centre.
The event welcomed 48 parents and 58 children, providing families with practical advice, information and fun activities designed to support children with their transition into school.
From speech and language support, oral health advice and SEND information to school readiness activities, healthy lunch ideas, road safety and confidence-building play, the afternoon was all about giving children the very best start.
A huge thank you to all of the amazing services, schools, Community Champions and volunteers who attended. By working together, we were able to answer questions, reduce worries, build confidence and ensure families know where to go for support.
It was wonderful to see children exploring, learning and having fun while parents accessed valuable advice and guidance.
Together we are helping children start school feeling confident, capable and ready to thrive. �
