🌞🧺 Happy National Picnic Day! 🧺🌞
Yesterday Our residents were very excited for yesterday outing to the local sensory garden to celebrate National Picnic Day. We enjoyed a lovely picnic surrounded by beautiful flowers, calming scents, and the peaceful sounds of nature.

It was wonderful to spend time outdoors together, enjoying good company, delicious food, and the beautiful surroundings. There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and happy memories made throughout the day. A perfect way to celebrate and make the most of the lovely weather! 🌼💚

Our resident made the most of the beautiful weather with a lovely walk to the local café, enjoying a coffee along the way. After picking up some duck feed, they spent time at the local pond feeding the ducks and taking in the stunning scenery. A wonderful morning outdoors, enjoying fresh air, nature, and great company from our feathered friends! ☀️🦆☕🌿

⚽🌍 The excitement is building at Cherry Garth as we kick off the start of the World Cup! 🌍⚽

Our residents have been getting into the football spirit by painting the colourful flags of countries taking part in this year’s tournament. From famous footballing nations to new teams on the world stage, everyone enjoyed showing their creativity while learning about the countries competing for glory.

The World Cup fever has officially arrived at Cherry Garth, and we’re ready to cheer on the teams, celebrate the goals, and enjoy every moment of the action together! 🏆🎨⚽

🧀🍷 National Cheese Day at Cherry Garth 🍷🧀

Yesterday, our residents celebrated National Cheese Day with a delightful cheese and wine afternoon! We enjoyed sampling a variety of delicious cheeses, sharing our favourites, and reminiscing together while listening to music from across the decades.

The wonderful combination of great food, relaxing music, and even better company made for a lovely afternoon full of laughter, conversation, and happy memories. ❤️

🍎🥂 Yesterday at Cherry Garth, we celebrated National Cider Day with a fun cider lucky dip! Our residents picked from a selection of different ciders and enjoyed tasting each one, sharing their thoughts and discussing the unique flavours along the way.

There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and lively conversations as everyone compared their favourites. Safe to say, the afternoon left everyone feeling very merry and jolly! 🍻😊

A wonderful way to bring people together and celebrate something a little different. Cheers to great company and great memories! ❤️

Today at Cherry Garth we came together to celebrate VE Day with wonderful entertainment from Kevin, bringing smiles, music, and great memories to everyone.

A huge thank you to Chef Thomas and Stevie for the beautiful cake and delicious cupcakes that made the day even more special. 🎂🧁

Most importantly, today we remember and honour all the brave fallen soldiers whose courage and sacrifice gave us the freedom we enjoy today. We will always be grateful. ❤️🌺

A little late posting, but we couldn’t not share the lovely moments from our St George’s Day celebration at Cherry Garth Care Home ❤️

Our residents had a wonderful time getting creative making St George’s flags, followed by a fantastic visit from Marcus our entertainer, who brought plenty of smiles, music, and laughter to everyone 🎶✨

A truly special day filled with joy, creativity, and great company!
