We provide a supported and safe horticultural based working
environment for adults with disabilities. Providing the best possible
care is very important to us, and we are keen that many more adults
with disabilities can join us on this beautiful site. We offer varied and
exciting opportunities for people to learn new skills, make new
friends, and become part of a

team, working together with expert
staff, to help create a truly stunning, natural, wildlife friendly
environment. We are working closely with the Great Missenden community and
schools, to promote wider awareness and integration for all, making
this a real community asset. Do you love gardening and enjoy working with people? We’re looking for someone special to join our friendly team here at Missenden Walled Garden.
This is a rewarding role for a reliable and caring individual who has a good knowledge of gardening and a genuine interest in supporting adults with special needs.
🌱 About the role:
You’ll be helping to maintain our beautiful garden while working alongside and supporting our members, helping them build skills, confidence and connection through horticulture.
💚 We’re looking for someone who:
• Has practical gardening knowledge
• Is dependable and hardworking
• Is kind, patient and comfortable working with adults with additional needs
• Enjoys being part of a supportive team
✨ In return, you’ll be part of something truly special—a welcoming community where the garden brings people together, improves wellbeing, and makes a real difference.
