There are a number of Fake clothing banks springing up in the county which have no links to charities and have no permission to be there.

The one I have reported in Northcott Gardens is being removed today.

After bringing the issue of school catering and the need of a full kitchen at HFS to Northumberland County Council, I am please to see the proposal of a new kitchen being passed in ncc full cabinet today.
Holywell First School will benefit from a £76k kitchen with work starting in the summer holidays.

This afternoon we have been discussing your concerns with PC Gair and Sgt Tapping.

In regards to ASB in Astley Park it appears the main issue being reported to police is Motorbike/ electric bike disorder.

In the past month the police have seized 16 e-scooters, three electric bikes, a motorcycle and two mopeds by utilising Op Dragoon trained officers.

One thing that was apparent from our conversation is there are incidents that are widely posted on Facebook but not reported.

Resources are allocated on need from reports.

Description
S9 communications road closures to excavate and carry out duct work.

Hartley Street North expected work dates: 18/05/2026 - 19/05/2026 between the hours of 19:00 & 06:00.

Park Road expected work dates: 21/05/2026 - 22/05/2026 between the hours of 19:00 & 06:00.

Both roads will not be closed at the same time.

Pedestrian access maintained where safe and possible to do so.
