What better way to spend an afternoon than getting comfy, enjoying a good film and tucking into some delicious popcorn! 🎥🥰

🎂🎉 DOUBLE THE BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS AT MOUNTBATTEN LODGE! 🥳💙

A very Happy Birthday to our lovely George and Charles! 🎈

Our talented Tracy pulled out all the stops with two fantastic personalised cakes! 🎂 George had a special request for a bread pudding birthday cake, complete with an army theme! 🪖💚 While Charles enjoyed a brilliant martial arts-themed cake! 🥋👏

Both gentlemen enjoyed lovely visits from their families, opening presents and being made a fuss of! 🥰🎁 Charles was particularly pleased with his new shoes, a thoughtful gift from his lovely key friend, Claire! 👟❤️

Happy Birthday, gentlemen! We hope you both felt truly spoilt on your special days! 🥳💙

🎃👻 A SPOOKTACULAR HALLOWEEN QUIZ NIGHT AT MOUNTBATTEN LODGE! 🕷️🧡

What a fantastic evening filled with laughter, fun, a little friendly competition and plenty of Halloween spirit! 🎃🍹

A huge THANK YOU to all our wonderful families who joined us for our Halloween Quiz Night! It was lovely to see everyone coming together and making the evening so special! 🧡

A massive shoutout to Sam, Sam and Cheryl for all their hard work, creativity and effort in planning and hosting such a brilliant evening! From the spooky decorations to the amazing Halloween-themed cocktails, so much thought went into every little detail! 🧙‍♀️🍸👻

And of course, a big thank you to our fabulous catering team for putting together a delicious charcuterie board and Halloween biscuits for everyone to enjoy! 🧀🍪🎃

The effort that went into the whole evening was incredible, and we are so grateful to everyone who helped make it such a success!

🎄🥣 IT’S CHRISTMAS PUDDING TIME! 🎅❤️

The festive preparations are already underway at Mountbatten Lodge! 🎁✨

Our lovely residents have been getting stuck into making their very own Christmas puddings, with a helping hand from Cheryl and our Chef Manager, Ben! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

Ben wanted to get out in the floor with the residents and do some hands on baking with them!

We can’t wait to see how our homemade Christmas puddings turn out at Christmas! 🎅🍮✨

🎤🎶 AN AFTERNOON OF MUSIC WITH DAVE! 💃🕺

What a fantastic morning we had this week at Mountbatten Lodge with the lovely Dave entertaining our residents! 🎸✨

There was plenty of singing along, dancing, laughter and smiles all around! It’s always wonderful to see our residents and staff enjoying the music together. ❤️

A big thank you to Dave for bringing such a lovely atmosphere to our home! We can’t wait to welcome you back! 🥰🎶

⛪️🙏 A BEAUTIFUL CHURCH SERVICE AT MOUNTBATTEN LODGE ❤️

Our residents enjoyed another lovely church service this week🕊️✨

With familiar hymns to sing along to, prayers and comforting words, it was a wonderful opportunity for our residents to embrace their faith and share a special moment together. 🎶💕

Residents were also offered the opportunity to receive Holy Communion or a personal blessing, making the service particularly meaningful for those attending. ❤️

A heartfelt thank you for bringing such warmth, kindness and spiritual comfort into our home. These visits mean so much to our residents and help us continue to support their individual beliefs and spiritual wellbeing. 🌸

🥂🍾 CHEERS TO WORLD CH*****NE DAY! 🍾🥂

Any excuse for a little fizz and something sweet! 🥂🧁✨

Our lovely residents at Mountbatten Lodge raised a glass to celebrate World Ch*****ne Day, enjoying a little bubbly, delicious sweet treats and, most importantly, some wonderful company! 💕

As you can see from those gorgeous smiles, there were plenty of happy faces and glasses raised! 🥰

Sometimes it’s the simplest moments that are worth celebrating, and we certainly don’t need much convincing to enjoy a little sparkle in our day! ✨🥂
