⚽🚩 As the World Cup gets underway, we're proud to support the national campaign.

For many, football tournaments are a time of excitement, community and celebration. But for some, they can also be a time of increased fear and risk behind closed doors.

Research has shown that incidents of domestic abuse increase during major football tournaments – rising by 38% when England lose and by 26% when they win or draw. Football does not cause domestic abuse, but major sporting events can intensify abusive behaviour and create additional risks for those already experiencing it.

At Salcare, we want everyone to know that support is available. If you are experiencing domestic abuse, or if you are worried about someone you know, please don't suffer in silence.
