Your donkey news 🫏

What a difference a few months can make! In July, this donkey was dehydrated and struggling to walk, with stiff, painful muscles. Dr Rakan provided fluids and pain relief, and spoke with the owner about improving the donkey’s living conditions.

When the team visited again, they were delighted to find the donkey looking so much healthier, with good body condition and a shiny coat.

Your support makes this possible. Thank you for helping working donkeys 🫏 - https://mailchi.mp/safehaven4donkeys/your-weekly-donkey-news-29-10-2026

🚑 HOPE for Injured Animals .....

⛑️Our team, led by vet, Dr Rakan, is at the Nablus equine market weekly to treat donkeys, foals & horses found with wounds and sickness. The most serious cases go straight across the road to our hospital clinic! We also educate owners on proper animal welfare explaining exactly how to care for them better.

🫵 This vital work urgently needs funding. Please donate today to help us give more equines the care they deserve as we rely entirely on donations 🙏🫶
