✨ Celebrating the difference local giving makes across Hertfordshire ✨
This week we welcomed supporters, fundholders, partners and friends to our Annual Reception at Sopwell House – an evening to celebrate what local giving has achieved across Hertfordshire over the past year.
In 2025/26, HCF awarded more than £6.3 million through 852 grants to charities, community organisations, individuals and families across the county.
But behind every grant is a person, a family or a community being supported.
Our fireside chat brought this to life, with Hertsmere Mencap, Herts Young Homeless and Home-Start Watford & Three Rivers sharing the difference they make every day – and how HCF funding helps them support the people who rely on their services.
From supporting people with learning disabilities and their families, to preventing youth homelessness and helping families with young children, their stories were a powerful reminder of why local giving matters. ❤️
