We’re really excited about the prospect of Junior parkrun coming to West Harrow Park! 🎉

Junior parkrun is a fantastic way for children aged 4–14 to get active, have fun and become part of a friendly community — and we’d love to see it happening here in our park! 💚

Want to find out more? Come along to our Musicfest this Saturday, 22nd August, from 1–7pm and have a chat with the team to find out what’s being planned.

An Amber Heat-Health Alert has been called for London, from 9am Wednesday 8th July until at least 9pm Sunday 12th July 2026.



To help yourself and your community, you can:

❤️ Check in on older people & those with a health or mental health condition

🚨 Be alert to signs of heat exhaustion or heatstroke, following NHS guidance

🗺️ Use and promote our Cool Spaces map, for those who seek respite while out and about

💧 Drink plenty of water and stay hydrated

🔥 Take care to avoid wildfire risks, including with outdoor disposable BBQs, follow guidance from London Fire Brigade

☀️ Avoid being out in the sun from 11am-3pm and wear sun protection

🌊 Be mindful of water safety, water can be very cold and can cause shock, follow guidance from London Fire Brigade
