St Lukes Hospice St Luke's is the local hospice and day care centre in Harrow and Brent. We offer all our services completely free of charge.

We rely on the generosity of our community, organisations and individuals for most of our funding. St Luke’s Hospice cares for people approaching the end of their life in Harrow and Brent. We aim to give the people we care for the best possible quality of life, each and every day.

Are you looking for a lovely family event that gives your children the opportunity to make a difference, too?

Fatana and her family had such a great time at last year's St Luke's Starlight Walk that they're already counting down the days until this year's event.

Returning to Harrow Leisure Centre on 27 June, the Starlight Walk brings together hundreds of people for a night of fun, laughter and fundraising in support of St Luke's Hospice.

Fatana's family are regular supporters, having taken part in Santa Dash three times, Light Up a Life twice, and now preparing for their second Starlight Walk.

Asked what her kids are most excited about, Fatana said: "They're looking forward to the face painting, collecting donations, dancing and doing gymnastics. They're even making bracelets to sell to raise money – they love it so much!"

Can you spare just two hours this Friday? 🪣

We're looking for a small team of volunteers to help with a bucket collection at Wembley Arena from 6–8 pm this Friday.

From time to time, Wembley Arena kindly allows St Luke's Hospice to collect donations before their events. These collections are incredibly valuable and can raise up to £2,000 from a single evening, thanks to the generosity of concertgoers.

If you've been thinking about volunteering with St Luke's Hospice, this is a fantastic way to get involved. No experience is needed, just a friendly face and a willingness to help.

Just two hours of your time could help raise vital funds that enable us to continue providing compassionate care and support to local families across Harrow and Brent.

After losing his wife, Gwyneth, following a 25-year battle with cancer, Eric Willis wrote a heartfelt poem to thank the St Luke's nurses who cared for them both.

St Luke's Hospice supported Gwyneth at home and later at Kenton Grange as her illness progressed, providing comfort, dignity and specialist care during her final days.

Now, Eric is giving back to the hospice through his creativity, crafting handmade wooden gifts to help support future patients and families.

Volunteers’ Week takes place from 1–7 June and gives us the chance to celebrate the amazing people who make such a difference at St Luke’s Hospice.

From our charity shops and fundraising events to supporting staff and helping behind the scenes, volunteers play a vital role in everything we do. Their time, kindness and commitment help us provide compassionate palliative and end of life care across Harrow and Brent.

Quite simply, we could not do what we do without them.

The London to Brighton Bike Ride returns on Sunday 13 September 2026 🚴‍♀️

Thousands of cyclists will take on the 55-mile route from Clapham Common to Brighton Seafront in one of the UK’s most iconic fundraising challenges, and we’d love your team to be part of it.

It’s open to everyone, and no cycling experience is needed, but a little training and enthusiasm should see you through!

If you're practical, reliable and enjoy solving problems, this could be the perfect opportunity to use your skills to support local hospice care.

Our Starlight Walk 2026 takes place on 27th June. Join us from 7:30 pm at Byron Hall for registration, face painting and a fun warm-up, before we set off together under the stars at 9 pm.

Choose the 5 or 9 mile route through Harrow - all ages and abilities welcome, making this a perfect night for the whole family.
