Re:generation

Re:generation was started in 1984 by a group of churches who wanted to reach children and young people in schools. Partnering with Scripture Union, our passion is to created exciting experiences for children to discover and learn about the Christian faith. We want to give this generation of children and young people the opportunity to hear and respond to the message of God’s love and grace. To do this, we provide various services to local schools around Harrow, including Christmas and Easter Roadshows, assemblies, year 6 transition workshops, Prayer Spaces, RE lessons and mentoring.

One teacher gave the feedback that our ‘ prayer space was very beneficial to all children as it promoted the spiritual, social, cultural and intellectual development. All children were engaged with the meaningful activities, enabling them to reflect on their own beliefs, values and experiences. The activities enabled the children to have a peaceful and mindful session, something they don’t usually get a chance to do. As the children felt so comfortable in the prayer space, many children were very willing to return during their lunch hour. The prayer space provided children from all faiths to reflect in an inclusive environment.’
