Thanks to all our Angels & Chaplains who volunteer week by week, caring for people on the streets, in their homes and where they work. 🙏🙏🙏

As a team, we aim to walk around in male and female pairs wherever possible. This gives the people we meet the opportunity to speak with whichever team member they feel most comfortable with, especially if they're feeling vulnerable or upset.
From time to time, people enjoying a night out will approach us because they're feeling threatened or uncomfortable due to the behaviour of someone they don't know. In those moments, we're there to listen, offer reassurance, and help them stay safe. Whether that means helping them reconnect with friends, arranging safe transport, or simply staying with them until they feel secure, our priority is making sure everyone has a safe way home. 😇❤️

We're excited to share that our main fundraising challenge for 2026 will be the Guildford 10K on 18 October.
We've partnered with event organiser RunThrough to offer 40 free race places, with a fundraising target of £250 per runner. Several of our Angels will be taking part, and we'd love for some of our followers, supporters, friends and family to join us on the start line too!
Whether you're a seasoned runner or looking for a new challenge, this is a fantastic opportunity to support our work while achieving something special for yourself.

Great to hear such stories from the streets of Guildford.

A lovely moment from last Saturday night. ❤️
We were stopped on the streets by a young man who wanted to thank our team for helping him on a previous night out when he became unwell. A space blanket, wipes, some TLC, and help getting home safely made a real difference.
It's always encouraging to hear how our volunteers are making a difference to our community, week after week. 🙏🏻😇

In Mental Health Awareness week we are delighted that our volunteer projects fit in so well with this years theme of taking action:

As many of you know, we rely on donations and fundraising to keep our Angel projects running. On Bank Holiday Monday 4th May, we will have a pop up Tea tent up at St Martha's on-the-Hill between 10am - 4pm. If you are able to support us that day, please pop up and see us. We will have home baked cakes and splendid views of the Surrey Hills. Hope to see you there.🙏🏻😇
