We are Surrey's provider of carer support. All our services are free of charge.

We help Surrey's unpaid carers (whatever their age) with information, practical help, emotional support, events, form filling, advice and much more.

We’re looking for Adult Carer Activities & Engagement Coordinators to organise activities & events, run support groups and help unpaid carers across Surrey feel connected and supported.

📅 Full-time (36 hours) or part-time (18 hours) positions available.

In November, we have two events where you can meet Ron Critcher, Surrey County Council Adult Carers Commissioning Manager, at our carer hubs in Epsom & Guildford.

Ron will talk about current services, plans for future support and changes linked to the move to East and West Surrey. There’ll also be time to ask questions.

🏃 We have a place available in the London Marathon 2027 – could it be yours?

Could you take on one of the world's most iconic races and make a difference for unpaid carers across Surrey? A charity place has recently become available on for the London Marathon 2027, taking place on Saturday 24 April 2027.

Join on Saturday 24 April 2027 and turn a personal challenge into something that makes a difference to local carers.

We ask you to pledge to raise at least £2,200, and we’ll support you with:

✅ Dedicated fundraising advice
✅ An ACS running top
✅ Training tips and encouragement
✅ Support from our team every step of the way

Thinking about university?

If you (or your young person) are considering university or college in the next few years, there’s a really helpful event coming up at the University of Surrey held at their Space Centre.

Aimed entirely at young carers, you’ll be able to hear from current and previous students as well as staff, about life at university, including using the hidden skills carers have, help with the costs of uni and the support available.

Representatives from both the University of Surrey, and Royal Holloway, University of London, will be there, but the information will be relevant for students wherever they think they are going. Young people of any age are welcome, with their parents. ACS staff will also be there.
