The Highly Commended Recipient of our Significant Achievement Award 2026 🏆

This highly commended recipient was recognised as the SMART facilitator who's reached a significant milestone or done something that's genuinely left its mark on the people around them, and on SMART Recovery as a whole. Whether that's their 100th meeting, setting up a new group somewhere really needed, an extraordinary commitment to bringing other facilitators onboard, or something else that's had a real impact, this is their moment.

And the highly commended recipient is... 🥁 Joseph Eardley from Moving On Inverclyde! 👏🏼

Joseph came through Moving On Inverclyde's own recovery programme and has become one of their strongest SMART advocates by facilitating closed meetings twice a week, running the open Port Glasgow meeting, and delivering sessions in HMP Greenock for three years. He leads by example and helps others become facilitators too.

Huge congratulations to Joseph, and thank you for your ongoing commitment to UK SMART Recovery 🎉

We were delighted to be part of such a brilliant day at the Beacon Arts Centre, celebrating recovery, connection and community across Inverclyde.

Our team had a fantastic time on the Moving On Inverclyde stall, sharing information on our services and offering acupressure sessions throughout the day. A huge thank you to Lorna, who kindly volunteered alongside us on the stall and also offered acupressure. It was so lovely having you there and we really appreciate your support! 🥰

With amazing stalls, live music, recovery stories, comedy, performances, arts and crafts, face painting and plenty of opportunities to connect, it was a brilliant way to round off Recovery Month!

Thank you to everyone who came along, supported the event and helped make it such a special celebration of recovery in all its forms 💚

Today we are celebrating very special milestone as four amazing people graduated from our Phases Programme! 🎉

There were plenty of happy tears, and lots of proud smiles💚

A huge congratulations to all four graduates. We are so proud of you and everything you’ve achieved!

Yesterday, our team headed along to Port Glasgow High School to speak with S3 pupils as they begin preparing for their YPI projects 💚

Working in groups, the pupils will choose a local charity that means something to them and learn more about the work they do in their community. They’ll then present their chosen charity as part of the project, with the chance to win £3,000 for their charity! 🙌🏻

It was brilliant to meet the pupils, share a little more about Moving On Inverclyde and the work we do, and see their enthusiasm for making a difference locally.

Good luck to all the S3s taking part! We can’t wait to see what you come up with 💚

What a night at the Inverclyde Chamber ICON Awards! ✨

We were delighted to be there celebrating alongside so many incredible organisations, individuals and teams who are making a real difference in their communities💚

While we didn’t take home a win this time, we had a brilliant night and were so proud to be finalists. Being recognised alongside such inspiring organisations is something we’re incredibly grateful for! 🥹
