🏆 Victoria BC – 2026 Open Pairs

What a fantastic day of bowls! 🎉

A massive thank you to everyone who supported our inaugural Open Pairs Competition on Saturday 29th August.

Players took to the green from 10:30am and enjoyed an afternoon of great bowling, glorious weather, plenty of competition — and, of course, lots of fun and laughter! ☀️

After the group stages and semi-finals, the final saw Jock Holland & Eddie Mills of Wellington Park take on the Victoria BC home team of Andy Macina & Chris Williamson.

The home team quickly found the pace of the rink and built a commanding lead to become our 2026 Open Pairs Champions! 🏆

Congratulations to Andy & Chris, and well done to Jock & Eddie on reaching the final. A huge thank you to every player, supporter and volunteer who helped make the day such a success.

A special thank you also goes to our bar staff, who worked tirelessly throughout the day and evening, and to everyone behind the scenes who helped organise, prepare and deliver the event. These days don’t just happen — they take a lot of people working together, and it was very much appreciated. 👏

We were delighted with the feedback from everyone who attended, and we’ll certainly be looking at bringing the event back next season!
