🎄✨ CALLING ALL CHRISTMAS LOVERS, CREATIVE MINDS & LITTLE CHRISTMAS FAIRIES! ✨🎄

❤️ WE NEED YOUR HELP! ❤️

Here at Sunshine Grace in Inverclyde, we're getting ready for something very special – our TEA N TINSEL 2 Christmas event on Saturday 28th November at The Regent Club! 🎅🎄

And we're on the hunt for a lovely, creative person (or even a wee team of people!) who could help us transform the hall into a magical, festive Christmas wonderland! ✨

Have you got an eye for decorating? Love Christmas? Enjoy making things look beautiful? Maybe you're just someone who loves a bit of tinsel, sparkle and festive magic?

YOU COULD BE JUST THE PERSON WE'RE LOOKING FOR! ❤️

We're not looking for professional event stylists or expensive decorators. We're simply looking for someone with imagination, enthusiasm and a wee bit of Christmas magic to help us plan, organise and decorate the hall.

🎄 We've already got red and green decorations and plenty of tinsel.
✨ We just need someone who can help bring it all together.
🎅 Someone who can help create that special Christmas atmosphere.

This is a voluntary opportunity, and we would be so incredibly grateful for anyone willing to give up a little of their time and creativity to help our small charity.

And of course, we wouldn't let you go without a little thank you! 🎁

As a small gesture of appreciation, we'd love to treat our decorating helper to a wee pamper gift or food hamper, refreshments and an invitation to stay and enjoy the afternoon with us at Tea N Tinsel 2. ❤️

As a small local charity with a BIG heart, we want to help bring Christmas joy to children and families across Inverclyde who may be struggling this festive season. 💛

Our tags cover different age groups, from little ones aged 0–2 right through to our teenagers0 aged 12+. Every single gift, no matter how big or small, could make a real difference to a child's Christmas. 🎅🏼✨

🎄❤️ SUNSHINE GRACE INVERCLYDE – CHRISTMAS WISHING TREE APPEAL ❤️🎄

✨ EVERY CHILD DESERVES A LITTLE CHRISTMAS MAGIC! ✨

Following on from our Christmas Wishing Tree idea, we wanted to reach out to anyone who may be struggling this Christmas, whether that's yourself or a family member you know who could use a little extra help. ❤️

As soon as Sunshine Community Hub opens, we will have Christmas Wishing Tree tags available for families to collect. 🎄🎁

If you would like to nominate yourself or a family member, you will be able to pop into the Hub, collect a tag and write down ONE Christmas wish for a child.

🎁 Who can be nominated?

❤️ Children aged 0–18, provided they are still in school. ❤️ Children aged 0–16 if they are no longer in school.

We want to make this as simple and accessible as possible, and the wish can be for absolutely anything suitable for the child.

For example, it could be: 🎀 A pamper set ⌚ A smartwatch ❤️ Aftershave or toiletries 🧸 Toys or games 🎄 Cosy pyjamas and fluffy socks 🤍 An Oodie or cosy hoodie 🎨 Arts, crafts or something linked to their hobbies

These are just a few ideas! Every child is different, and we want them to have the chance to wish for something they would genuinely love to receive. 🥰

Please remember, we are NOT asking anyone to spend a fortune! ❤️

You can find lovely, affordable gifts in lots of places, and sometimes it's the simplest things that mean the most. A gift doesn't need to cost a lot of money to make a child smile.

At Sunshine Grace, we aren't about how much something costs. We're about kindness, compassion and having a beautiful heart. ❤️

☀️ We are a small charity with a BIG heart, and our wish is to help as many children as possible experience the excitement and happiness of Christmas morning.

We will also soon be putting out our appeals for Christmas donations, and we will keep everyone updated as things progress.

The opening of Sunshine Community Hub is looking more likely to be in November now, but we will confirm everything with you as soon as we can.

Once the Hub opens, the wishing tags will be available to collect. You will be able to write ONE wish for the child on your tag, and we will share more information about how the scheme will work.

Please don't feel embarrassed or ashamed to ask for help. We know that times are difficult for so many families, and there is absolutely no judgement here. ❤️

✨ Could you help us make a child's Christmas wish come true? ✨

This Christmas, we want to spread a little extra sunshine to families who may be struggling and help make Christmas morning that little bit more magical for their wee ones. 🎁❤️
We will have a wishing tree and any families who are in NEED, can get their kids from 0 to 16/18 if still in school etc, can create a wish and add it to OUR TREE...

Once Sunshine Community hub is open, we will have our very own Christmas Wishing Tree! 🎄

The idea is simple. You can pop into the Hub, choose a Christmas wish from our tree, purchase the gift and then pop it back into the Hub for us to make sure it gets to the child who wished for it. 🎁🥰

Every wish will represent a child who deserves a little Christmas magic, and every gift, no matter how big or small, will help us bring smiles to little faces on Christmas morning. ❤️

We know times are tough for so many families just now, and sadly, Christmas can bring extra worries for parents who are already struggling to make ends meet.

At Sunshine Grace, we believe every child deserves to feel loved, remembered and included at Christmas, regardless of their family's circumstances. ❤️

💛🕊️ Two years without you, Nana Bridie. 🕊️💛

Today marks the second anniversary of the passing of Nana Bridie...💔

Nana Bridie holds a very special place in the story of Sunshine Grace in Inverclyde SC055280, as she was one of the reasons behind the charity name and why started 🌻💛

Although two years have passed, her memory lives on through the kindness, love and support we continue to share with families and children who need a little extra sunshine in their lives.

Sometimes, the hardest times in life inspire us to do something truly meaningful, and Nana Bridie will always be part of the heart behind what we do. 💛

Today, we remember her, we think of her family, and we send so much love to all Bridies Family and everyone who is missing her today.

Forever remembered, forever loved, and forever part of the Sunshine Grace story. 🌻💛

Rest peacefully, Nana Bridie. 🕊️

❤️ FAMILY IN NEED – CAN WE PULL TOGETHER? ❤️

We are reaching out to see if anyone might be able to help a family who are in need of some essential items, especially with the colder weather coming in. 🥶❤️

Sometimes families need a wee bit of extra support, and if we can all pull together as a community, even the smallest act of kindness can make a massive difference. 🫶

Here is a list of the items the family are looking for:

🛏️ WARM BEDDING

- A warm, cosy duvet/bedding for a double bed.
- A warm, cosy duvet/bedding for a single bed x 2

🧥 WINTER COATS

- A long winter coat, size L/XL, for mum.
- A winter coat, size 4–5 years, for one of the girls.
- A winter coat, size 7–8 years, for the other girl.

🧦 WARM CLOTHING

- Warm tights and socks for mum and both girls.
- A dressing gown for mum, if possible.

🎒 SCHOOL & NURSERY ESSENTIALS

- A school bag for the oldest girl.
- Two lunch boxes for the girls to use for school and nursery.

🛏️ BEDROOM ESSENTIAL

- A single bed base.

If anyone has any of these items sitting unused at home, in good condition, and would be willing to donate them, it would be so greatly appreciated. ❤️

I know times are tough for so many people just now, and we are not asking anyone to go out and buy things. But if you have something you no longer need, it could make a real difference to this family.

As the colder weather approaches, let's try to help make sure this mum and her girls have warm beds, cosy clothes and the essentials they need. ❤️
