Dreams Come True Inverclyde Help more and more seriously and terminally ill children and young people to receive a dream come true
(1)

Recently set up in Inverclyde specifically to help sick Inverclyde children and young people, Dreams Come True Inverclyde hasnow raised nearly £10,000 to start making dreams come true for Inverclyde children and young people who are in palliative care or who have life threatening conditions. We have just made our first dream come true for 7 year old Say Quigley from Inverkip.

‘It is great being

in this position of being able to make dreams come true in Inverclyde’, said local co-ordinator Chris Jewell, ‘and I want to greatly thank all those who have helped us raise these funds. An average dream costs about £2,000 to make happen so we are already able to help four more Inverclyde young people at least, with many more fundraising initiatives in the pipeline to make a whole lot more Inverclyde dreams come true. Anyone in Inverclyde can apply for a dream, using the Dreams Come True national website www.dctc.og.uk on behalf of someone they know and we would encourage people who know of someone locally who is suitable for a dream to get in touch.’
