Some more photographs from last night's Bonfire night . Hope you all had a great time. Many people seemed to . Food , drink, music, a bonfire and fireworks , what a way to enjoy a dark November evening. 😍

Yesterday Gobowen once again celebrated Bonfire night in style, thanks to the hard work of the organisers and volunteers . As I wandered around tasked with the job of finding smiling faces and happy people I realised what a wonderful night people were having eating ,drinking ,talking, listening to music watching the bonfire and the amazing fire work display.
Look below and see for yourselves.
Thanks everyone who attended the event and supported the organisers. Not every village is as lucky as us . Long may the event continue. 😁(More photos to come )

Don't forget if you can leave any bags at home it will make things easier on entrance. Bags searches are in preparation for Martyns Law, due to come out next year. Included in this poster are prohibited items. Thank you for your co-operation.

🔥 FIRE BUILDING VOLUNTEERS 🔥

There is always a lot of work to do when building the bonfire for bonfire night, any and all help is appreciated. If you are able to come and help from 10am on Sunday that would be greatly appreciated. There are lots of things to setup and many hands make light work for this community event. We are only a small group of volunteers and none of us are getting any younger. All help is really appreciated to try and keep this village event going.

Please see the link below for our volunteers WhatsApp group to keep ip to date with what is going on.

Thanks the GCG Team.

We are delighted that we have the mirrors performing for us at this years Bonfire Night.

We can’t wait to see you all on Sunday Evening.

We are delighted to once again be supporting this amazing community event. Now that we have the $6 Million Man back from his recent muscoskeletal upgrade it's all systems go 🎸🎸🥁🎤

Only 4 days to go until our annual Gobowen firework display.

We kick things off at 5pm, we have a wonderful selection of hot and cold food this year as well as live music.

We will be introducing bag checks this year as a precautionary measure and to start building up towards the introduction of Martyn’s Law next year. We ask everyone to be respectful of the security team when asked to look in your bag, we ask people to leave bags at home unless you really need them.

Any local volunteers who are available to help setup on the day, we will be building the fire from 10am. There is a link in the comments below to a volunteer’s watts app group.

We are really looking forward to welcoming you to another wonderful event.

The GCG Team.
