💛 Could you spare a little time to change someone’s life? 💛

One of our service users was so isolated she would wait for the post to arrive, just to have a brief chat with someone.

Today, thanks to a volunteer befriender, she’s enjoying weekly outings, regular phone calls, and plenty of laughter again 💬✨

💛 You could be that person for someone else. We’re looking for volunteer befrienders across Fife:

✔ Just a few hours a week
✔ Flexible
✔ Life‑changing — for both of you

You may remember Hannah, our amazing six‑year‑old Kiltwalk hero, who is taking on the Dundee Kiltwalk Wee Wander this August to support Seescape.

Hannah is already training hard and would love some extra walkers to join her and her team on 16 August 2026. Whether you’re walking for fun, fitness, or for a cause close to your heart, you’ll be helping Hannah make a huge difference 💪👣
If a longer challenge is more your thing, you can also join the Seescape Striders for the Big Stroll in Edinburgh on 13 September 2026.

🌟 Huge Thank You! 🌟

A massive thank you to Katie, Hali, Lydia, Rachel and Rose from Dunfermline High School 👏

The girls chose our charity as part of the Youth Philanthropy Initiative and really went above and beyond. They carried out fantastic research, showed incredible passion, and even organised their own fundraiser to support us 💙

We are absolutely delighted and so proud to share that they won their school competition! 🎉

Thanks to their incredible hard work and dedication, our charity will receive an amazing £3,000 — support that will make a real difference.

🌟 What a way to celebrate Volunteers’ Week! 🌟

We are absolutely delighted to share some incredible news from the Fife Voluntary Action Awards.

🏆 Beth Coates has been awarded the Lifetime Contribution to Volunteering Award. This was a hotly contested category, with every nominee showing extraordinary dedication, but Beth truly stood out for her lifelong commitment to supporting others, building community, and enriching lives across Fife.

👏 We are also incredibly proud of Sheila Duncan, who was honoured for an amazing 30 years of service. Three decades of commitment, care, and giving back to others is a truly remarkable achievement!

Both Beth and Sheila have made a lasting difference through their volunteering, and we are so fortunate to have them as part of our community. 💙
