Our volunteers got in the Halloween spirit on Saturday as they led fun activities for children at StGeorges Netherfield Holidays Activities and Food. We encouraged young people to use provided materials to make a wide range of Halloween themed crafts from ghost owls, bats, ghosts etc and we also offered sewing and box modelling.

In Gedling at our Scrapstore we ran the last of a 4 session Sewing Workshop where we support people to repair, upcycle and use fabrics from our scrapstore.

Then in the evening we were out with our electric van (plus volunteer driver), event shelter, tables and chairs to support our partners, St Albans Parish Council and Warren Action Group at their Community St Albans Fireworks on Muirfield Park. Phew!

The Sewing Course's last session is today at Gedling - from 10am with Lorraine Appleton Upcycler
We'd love to see your project pics!
