Frome Museum Visit our Museum and experience an array of fascinating people, places, crafts, events and history of the historic town of Frome.

Donations are welcome but entry is free. Bring the family and let your children find items to be touched and tested! A fascinating town Museum ... open from early March until late November each year. Run by volunteers in an iconic building in Frome, documenting the history of the town and wider area.

The railway came to Witham Friary in 1858.
Under the Beeching Cuts the Witham to Yatton branch line was closed and the station itself went out of service in 1966.
