Is this a time of year that makes you think about starting a new writing project? The start of a new academic year, the evenings beginning to close in a bit, a hint of autumn in the air? Have you thought about joining a writing group or finding a writing buddy to keep you on track?
FWC can offer help on that, matching you up with a group that meets at a time that suits you - or maybe it could be a virtual group?
FWC's monthly socials start again soon - look at the website for information about what's on!

Nearly the end of August - were the summer holidays a productive time for you and your writing, or was it all a bit of a rush and a scramble? With September, we're often filled with fresh resolution to achieve something in the last few months of the year. Are you thinking about writing something new, or picking up something you've abandoned? Wishing you a calm and inspiring environment!

Wonderful opportunity to see Nicholas Shakespeare - a writer who has been compared to Graham Greene and John le Carré at the Merlin Theatre this evening - Nicholas's first talk at a Frome venue. See you there!

TODAY! A first for Frome. The prize-winning novelist and biographer, Nicholas Shakespeare, is coming to discuss his latest novel, Frame 37, with Kylie Fitzpatrick . It's a wonderfully gripping story written by a storytelling expert. One not to be missed.
