This Volunteers’ Week, we are recognising the time, care and commitment our volunteers give to Girlguiding across London and South East England. You create safe, welcoming spaces where girls can be themselves, try new things and grow in confidence. Week after week, you plan, organise and support with patience and kindness. Each role matters and each contribution makes guiding possible. This week, and every week, your impact is felt by young members, fellow volunteers and by communities across the region. 2nd Faversham Guides enjoyed an evening of outdoor fun last week cooking on campfires - jacket potatoes, toasted crumpets and, of course, 'smores!

Ooooooh! A sneak-peek of the new brownie uniform in here - it's being released later this year. Our commissioners saw an early version of the new uniforms at the end of last year and we think you're all going to love it!!

A reminder that the current uniform will remain valid uniform for the foreseeable future. There is no need to buy the new style if you've got stuff that fits. Stocks of current uniform are running low as the warehouse prepares for the new items to arrive. Talk to your leader if you can't get hold of any - a t-shirt in a similar colour is fine for now.
