After 11 years of dedication and leadership, our Chief Officer, Dorah May Hancock, is stepping down, and we are looking for an exceptional individual to lead Age Concern Epsom & Ewell into its next chapter.

This week sees the launch of our Christmas Gifting Campaign, as we spread a little festive cheer to older people in our borough who may be feeling particularly lonely or isolated.

We’re inviting you to help brighten someone’s Christmas by donating a gift. Even a small gesture can make a big difference! ❤️

3,000 DRIVES – WHAT A VOLUNTEERING SUPERSTAR!

Today, we celebrated one of our amazing volunteers, Alan, who has just completed an incredible 3,000 medical transport drives for Age Concern Epsom & Ewell having supported our charity for over a decade!

Thank you, Alan, for your incredible dedication, ensuring our clients get to their medical appointments safely with the reassurance that they can always rely on you.

But it’s about so much more than getting from A to B. Your kindness, consistency and friendship mean the world to so many of our clients.

We are so lucky to have you as part of our team. Thank you for everything you do. You truly are a volunteering superstar! ⭐👏

60% of all lottery income goes directly towards supporting our vital services, including Information & Advice, Medical Transport, Home Visitors, Befrienders, Sunday Teas and our Men’s Club.

🎉 What a fantastic time we had at our Annual Quiz Night last Friday! 🎉

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and made it such an enjoyable evening.
We send our thanks also go to our wonderful Quiz Master, Eber Kington, for keeping us entertained and putting everyone’s knowledge to the test and to our sponsors, Epsom Beaumont Care Home - Barchester Healthcare for their support.

Come and Visit Us at The Advice Cafe today.

Age Concern Epsom & Ewell will be at The Advice Cafe at St Barnabas Church, Temple Road, Epsom, KT19 8HA, from 10am–12 noon today.

Anyone over State Pension age, or their representatives, are welcome to drop in for a chat and talk through any issues or concerns they may have. Our team will be on hand to offer information, advice and support.

This is in addition to our usual Information & Advice Service at the Old Town Hall, The Parade, Epsom, KT18 5AG which is open Mon - Fri, 9.30 am - 1 pm.

The Advice Cafe has a small free car park at the rear and offers free refreshments, so why not come along for a coffee and a chat?
