“Confidence isn’t always loud. Sometimes it’s quiet. Sometimes it’s simply the feeling of recognising yourself again.”

These words from , Co-Founder of , capture something at the heart of everything we do.

Lara was diagnosed with lymphoma in June last year. In the months that followed, she found that how we look is often deeply tied to how we feel, and that holding onto the parts of yourself that still feel familiar can matter more than words can say.

We’re so glad she’s now well and in remission, and deeply moved that her experience brought her to us.

Our partnership is rooted in that same belief: that practical support, warmth, and care can help people feel more like themselves at a time when life can feel anything but familiar.

To mark the partnership, Varley is hosting a Day of Confidence on Saturday 20th June, with 100% of proceeds from their UK stores on King’s Road and in Marylebone donated to us.

We’re so grateful to Lara, and to everyone at , for bringing their community together in support of ours.

“It was just really nice to meet other people my age going through similar things.” Caitlin.

Going through cancer as a young adult can feel particularly isolating.

Our Young Adult workshops are an opportunity to step away from treatment, even just for a couple of hours. Offering a space to connect with others of a similar age, on a similar path, everyone is met exactly where they are.

The session is shaped around your needs as a young adult navigating cancer, offering simple, practical tips that help you feel more like yourself again, giving you that boost in confidence to get through the day.

You’ll also receive a gift bag filled with skincare and beauty goodies, kindly donated by our incredible brand partners. A small gesture to take home and continue that sense of care beyond the workshop.

Whether you're ready to join us now or simply want to explore what's available, take a look at our cancer support workshops via our website www.lookgoodfeelbetter.co.uk/ workshops/, or call our friendly team on 01372 747500, menu option 2.

“Going through cancer as a young person is a completely terrifying experience. There’s so many changes, your confidence changes, your appearance changes… there’s so much to it that you’re not expecting. The amazing thing about Look Good Feel Better workshops is that it gives you an opportunity to find that confidence again.”

Caitlin was diagnosed with cancer at just 24. After 7 months of treatment, she went into remission, before, a couple of months ago, receiving the difficult news that her cancer has returned.

Now half way through her second round of treatment, she’s continued to find moments of support, confidence and connection through our workshops.

On the days when everything feels a little heavier, Caitlin turns to the tips and advice she learned at our Skincare & Makeup Workshop, small things that help her feel more like herself again, and give her the confidence to get through the day.

This April, for Teenage & Young Adult Cancer Awareness Month, we’re sharing Caitlin’s story to shine a light on just how important that support can be. For young people navigating cancer, the loss of identity and confidence can feel particularly overwhelming.

Support to take back control and rebuild confidence is only made possible by our volunteers who choose to step forward.

If you’ve ever thought about volunteering, this could be your moment to spring into action.

In your 20’s, life is supposed to feel like it’s just beginning. For Caitlin, cancer took that away from her.

This April, for Teenage & Young Adult Cancer Awareness Month, we'll be featuring stories of those navigating cancer at a young age, and the importance of having the right support around them.

Our young adult workshops are designed to be a space for young patients to meet others of a similar age, on a similar path. Experiences are often shared, practical tips and advice gained, questions are answered without awkwardness.

When Caitlin attended our Skincare & Makeup Workshop, she found a welcoming space, where she could get back to feeling like herself again.

This spring, we’re inviting more people to step forward, to volunteer or fundraise with us so that we can help young people like Caitlin feel less alone.

Spring into action and help us reach more young people when they need it most.
