PERFORMERS WANTED!

🎭 Fancy taking part in a table read? 4/5 Performers Needed! 🎭

What’s a table read you ask? It’s an initial read-through of a script with writers, producers and actors to help fine tune the writing process.

A friend of Epsom Players, Ricky Gudgeon, is looking for 4-5 performers to take part in a table read for a play they are producing.

With a high-profile actor already signed up to take part, and with your expenses covered, you’d be silly not to apply for the opportunity!

Last week we brought Kipps to the stage at The Epsom Playhouse, and we want to say a heartfelt thank you.

To our brilliant production team, cast, crew and everyone behind the scenes, and to all of you who came to watch and support us, thank you for being part of it.

We will be honest, ticket sales were lower than we had hoped and for a moment it felt like the future of Epsom Players, a society that has been part of Epsom since 1911, was uncertain.

But the support we received has been incredible. Past members, friends and supporters stepped forward, booking tickets, making donations and showing just how much this society means.

We are still finalising the figures, but it looks likely that, thanks to you, we have avoided the losses we feared and can continue. We will be planning fundraising events over the coming months to further raise funds and put us in a stronger position before we start our next production.

We are already looking ahead to our next main stage production at The Epsom Playhouse… Frozen the Musical in 2027.

Here’s to the next chapter, and to keeping Epsom Players going for another 100 years.
