Last Saturday, one took place near my home, and today, it was near the building where my mother in law used to live; and where her younger son lives now.

Every time, I feel a sense of pride in Ukraine’s fertile soil and its hardworking people. And everything is just so delicious!

I recorded a short video today, which I’d like to share with you.

🗣️”I want to share an important fundraiser and ask for your help.

I personally know a volunteer from the organization “Surrey Stands With Ukraine,” who have been helping Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale war in February 2022.

Right now the team is collecting funds for 200 winter humanitarian kits for one of the cities in the Kharkiv region.

Each kit will include a gas stove, a power bank, a flashlight, and a warm fleece blanket.

In essence, these are the most essential things to survive a cold winter and power outages.

Even a small donation can become a very big help for someone.

I suggest giving these families a bit of warmth and the feeling that they are not alone.

And a big thank you to everyone who responds.”

The charity organisation Surrey Stands with Ukraine, which I’ve known for more than four years and with which many career, media, and charitable organisations in Ukraine cooperate, is continuing its fundraising for winter packages for families in Ukraine.

This is an extremely important collection.

We all understand very well what this winter will be like, and we’ve already had experience with it. Unfortunately, not just for one year, and we can make a significant difference.

My friends received such a package last year. It was truly a big help and I emphasise, invite, and ask you to join this fundraiser, because we can provide more families who will need them, with heaters, power banks, flashlights, and stoves for cooking food.

We know they will need them. Please join in.
