The National Emergency Briefing (NEB) is an independent UK public information initiative focused on the climate and nature crisis. It is a solution-oriented movement designed to cut through disinformation, unite local communities, and create a roadmap toward a greener, healthier, and more resilient future.
Instead of focusing purely on the challenges, the initiative highlights the massive benefits of taking collective action—such as lowering energy bills, improving public health, boosting food security, and strengthening local economies.
3 Positive Actions You Can Take Today
The goal of the project is to shift from awareness to civic engagement. Here is how you can get involved right now:

• Sign and Support the Parliamentary Petition: There is an active UK Government petition calling for an official, prime-time televised national emergency briefing. • Engage Locally and Connect with an MP: You can use the NEB platform to check if your local MP has signed the Parliamentary Call.
