BBC Bitesize's Fantastic Philosophy was a finalist for the free resources in the Teach Awards: https://www.teachawards.com/winners-2025/

We supported the development of the programme with the lovely people at Jungle Studios and our friend and brilliant colleague Sally Latham, who wrote it. Our wonderful patron, Sir Stephen Fry, narrated the series, and you can see them here, as well as download free resources we have created to accompany the series:

Our new Media Literacy course in partnership with Wikimedia UK starts in November. Here is one of the lesson plans from it, using the Monkey Selfie to explore identity, the self, and 'selfies'. https://www.thoughtful.org.uk/resources/thoughtful-media-literacy-sample/

The course is a Level One training in philosophy for children through the lens of media literacy for secondary schools/colleges. And Wikimedia UK have subsidised the course for the first 8 people who book, so you can get a £275 course for only £60 whilst places last!

(And you get this free resource if you can't make the course).

Enjoy!
