We a group of local people and interest groups making Egham a happy and lively place to live, work, study and visit.

ETT was established in 2012 to revitalise the town centre and strengthen community pride in the town by building on Egham’s heritage, location and educational links by identifying the needs and aspirations of residents, businesses and visitors alike and focusing on the opportunities that the broad mix of retail, community, leisure and residential uses create. We encourage collaboration amongst individuals and groups with an interest in Egham Town Centre to arrange events and community action. Please get in touch if you have ideas for events, want to promote a local community group or would like to volunteer with us.

🎩 The Holloway Story Announcement 🚨

We are excited to announce an upcoming project that will be supported and hosted by our museum…
The Holloway Story is a documentary series produced by Leo John Davies (LJD Histories). Over three episodes, Leo will explore the life and legacy of Thomas Holloway, founder of Royal Holloway University. A journey that goes across England and through three different countries, finding its way back to our area.

More information to come over the next couple of weeks, however, The Holloway Story will be launched at the Literary Institute on the 14th August and we’d love to see you there.
In addition to the documentary, there will also be light activities, food, and interpretation, as well as items from our collection and from the making of the series.
