What a fantastic night we had at Runnymede Folk Club on Thursday with Edwina Hayes , wonderfully supported by Stu Hillstead

A sold-out room, two brilliant singer-songwriters and another lovely Runnymede audience made it a really special evening at The Red Lion.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and supported live music — and, as always, a big thank you to Andrew for capturing the night so brilliantly. Here are just a few of his photos from Thursday. 📷

We hope you enjoyed the night as much as we did.

A Featured Album of the Month: Good Habits’ “Better for Now” pushes outwards, from festival-ready trance-folk to intimate acoustic balladry. An overriding spirit of positivity runs through songs about body image and burnout, all carried on buoyant melodies. The result is a blend of virtuosity and sheer vitality, making them one of the most exciting bands on the British folk scene right now, and one of the most technically accomplished.
