🌍 Children aged 7-12 can get hands-on with science activities, games and crafts in a packed programme run by our Learning and Engagement team. Exploration and scientific fun will take place both indoors and outdoors in Holyrood Park.

Monsters & Myths is here! 🕸 This weekend is the start of our Monsters & Myths Trail at Dynamic Earth, where you can discover the real creatures, natural wonders and scientific secrets that have inspired your favourite spooky tales. 🎃

Use your Mythical Map to find different legends hidden in our immersive galleries and take part in fun interactive activities. You’ll collect stamps along the way, and discover myths like dragons, kelpies and werewolves! Your final spooky stop will be in our café, where you’ll mix your very own potion! 🧪

Temporary Closure of Ocean Commotion Soft Play 🐟 Due to ongoing building works within the centre, Soft Play will be temporarily closing from 30th September 2026.

A selection of soft play equipment will be available for use at no cost in Core Café during this time. For updates on when the Soft Play will re-open, follow us on social media or sign up to our newsletter.

For those booked into our DynaMites and Dynamos Science Clubs during this period of closure, your science club admission ticket can be redeemed at Core Café for a complimentary drink (tea, americano, or carton of orange or apple juice) for a child and accompanying adult on the day of your booking.
