Delighted to announce our Ceilidh Plus collaboration with Tanwi Bhattacharya, Founder and Creative Director of Edinburgh's Nikkan Dance Academy – which has been celebrating the rich heritage of Indian dance and bringing its vibrant spirit to Scotland since 2023.

Nikkan offer classes in the North and South Indian classical dances of Kathak and Bharatanatyam, as well as in Indian Free-Style: a lively mix of Folk and Bollywood with fun choreography and expressive movement.

Happy European Folk Day!

Huge thank you to all of you who joined us to celebrate this year's at our first-ever Ceilidh Plus in Glasgow on Saturday which opened our doors and hearts to the joyous Catalan and Cypriot traditional dances, alongside the good old Scottish Ceilidhs.

Ceilidh Plus: Scotland + Cyprus + Catalonia

Not long to go and hardly any tickets left.

Following five sold-out Ceilidh Pluses in Edinburgh, we are Glasgow-bound with the first Ceilidh Plus for the city – a good old Scottish Ceilidh with a Mediterranean twist.

So much to enjoy, try and learn in just one night – we couldn't agree more with what one of our fab Ceilidh Plus callers Angel Godwin .godwin9 says in this wee clip - bonus point if you could let us know in the comments which traditional dance did Angel Godwin call as part of our first Ceilidh Plus in 2024.
