The mornings are getting a little crisper, the evenings a little shorter, and autumn is officially on its way… although, given the heatwaves we’ve been having, perhaps we shouldn’t put the summer clothes away just yet!

Here’s to a new month, cosy jumpers, changing leaves and whatever September has in store 💜

A huge thank you to Eastbourne Unltd Chamber of Commerce for raising an incredible £1,377.50 for WayfinderWomen at their Airbourne Lunch!

We’re so grateful for your support and for choosing to raise funds for the work we do supporting women across our community.

Look at the power of nature! 🍅

We've got a remarkable self-seeded tomato plant growing outside our back door at WayfinderWoman, and it's flourishing despite the odds. It's been growing through the drought and yet, it's produced two juicy tomatoes!

It's as if these tomatoes are symbolic of the same resilience and determination we see in the women at WayfinderWoman every day.

🐱 Happy International Cat Day!

Cats have a special way of making us feel less alone. Whether they're keeping us company on the sofa, making us laugh or simply being there when we need them, companionship comes in many forms.

If you or someone you know is worried about money over the summer holidays, it's worth being aware that the Household Support Fund has now ended and is being replaced by the Crisis & Resilience Fund.

The new fund will be introduced in stages, but there is support available now, including financial advice, benefits support and help for eligible families.

If your child receives targeted free school meals, they may also be able to access free Holiday Food & Fun clubs during the school holidays. These clubs offer a range of activities and a nutritious meal for eligible children.

A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to attend our very first Hidden Voices Listening group last Wednesday.

It was so good to hear from all of you, and we're grateful that you felt comfortable sharing your personal stories, unique perspectives, and trusting us with your experiences.

We're really looking forward to future groups and opportunities to continue the conversation.

We're lucky to have some incredible people in our corner, and Steve and Renée at The Sheldon B&B are definitely two of them 💜

Not only have they supported WayfinderWoman in the past, but they continue to champion local charities, artists and community projects across Eastbourne. It's wonderful to see a local business so passionate about supporting others.
