Looking for something to do on Friday (5th December)?

We still have places available on our Museum Tour, starting at 2.00pm and led by Derek Taylor. Tours are free although we do suggest a £5.00 cash donation to our funds

Last Thursday, the Friends of Bassetlaw Museum hosted their AGM, followed by a presentation by Angela Anwyl. Angela has published two books on music in Retford, covering the years 1837 to 1929, and made extensive use of the museum’s collections in her research. Her presentation highlighted several notable Retford figures, including Muriel Spencer, Walter Parker, Hamilton White and Winifred Howell.

Worksop Wonders WI enjoyed some refreshments before their tour of Bassetlaw Museum earlier today
