We are back at Café 2:42 this Friday and we are looking forward to seeing you all.

If you are in need of anything for your baby or child please get in touch by Wednesday to give us time to prepare your items ready to collect on Friday.

If you have been in touch over the summer we are still working our way through our messages and will get back to you ASAP.

Thank you to Ukie Toones for their generous donation which we received on Monday at their annual donation day. This donation is going to help us as demand continues to grow to enable us to support more families.

Ukie TooNes are an amazing group of people who meet together twice a month and perform at gigs and events around the local area. Money they raise is given to local charities nominated by their members. If you are interested in joining them or having them play at your event do get in touch with them.

Bank Holiday Monday saw our annual Donation Day. This is when we hand over our earnings for the year to good causes nominated by our members. This year we passed on a total of £7000. The recipients were:

Thank you Dunstable Connect Club for inviting us along to be part of your celebrations today. There was such a great atmosphere and it was lovely to meet some of your members.

We support local families by giving away baby clothes and equipment for babies and children aged 0-5 years to anyone who needs them.

Two ladies in Dunstable are making sure no baby goes without – thanks to their project offering families in need essentials for their tots and a place to connect.

This Friday will be our lest session at Café 2:42 until September while our volunteers take a well earned break to spend time with their families.

Come along and enjoy a delicious drink and some time out with us before the school holidays start and if you are in need of anything for your little one please get in touch by Wednesday morning to give us time to prepare your bundle ready for Friday.

We are running very low on the following sizes of nappies, if you are able to drop a pack in your basket next time you shop that would be a great help for us as we support local families.

Nappies can be put in our trolley in Asda, dropped at Café 2:42 on Fridays between 10am-2pm, or to our office (please get in touch to arrange a time to drop to the office).

The sizes we need are: 1, 6, 7, & 8.

We also need night time pull ups in all sizes.

We currently have plenty of the other sizes so we cannot take more of the other sizes.
