What a fun and busy week we've had...Monday our members had a tour around the very Big Amazon warehouse, so fascinating watching the robots in action 📦
Friday... we were very grateful to Martin Rowe Promotor & Media Consultant, for the tickets to see The Ultimate Irish Hooley at The Grove Theatre. It was a fun, uplifting show. Thankyou Martin 😊

Good Morning everyone, its Tuesday again, so Club day is here again 😃
Ive confirmed the names for Eastbourne day trip on Sunday 16th August with Three Star Coaches. Please can you all make payments to Jan at club today of £24 (I can accept half this week and £12 next week if that helps)

Please take care in this extreme heatwave. Here are some tips for keeping cool 🥵 Stay safe everyone

⚠️The Met Office have issued an amber warning for extreme heat for much of England and Wales for this week, with temperatures potentially reaching 39°C ☀️

Generally, our bodies find it harder to adapt to more extreme temperatures as we age, and some conditions and medications can make us more susceptible to hot weather, including the high temperatures this week.

We can all help keep older people safe during heatwaves by checking in on relatives, friends, and neighbours. You could offer help to get shopping or pick up any medication.
