The Foundation would like to thank all those involved with Wee Yarn Productions and CRAIC Theatre who recently invited our staff to attend a showing of "Called Out".

"Called Out" is a powerful and thought-provoking one-man show that challenges the attitudes and behaviours of misogyny, abuse, and harrasment that many women experience in everyday life.

A huge congratulations to writer Cathal Clarke, director Aoibh Clarke, and actor Ronan Johnson for bringing such a powerful production to life.

Jenny had the opportunity to interact with many of the staff members and give them information on the services we provide.

Catherine McBennett was delighted to recently take part in the panel for the 'Conversations We Need to Have' event, organised by the current Belle of Mid Ulster, Annette Rooney and held in the Rowan Tree Centre, Pomeroy.

Annette has pledged her support for the Foundation this year, and we are so grateful to her for this.

The event raised a fantastic £760, which Annette presented to the Foundation last week 💜

🍂 Autumn has well and truly arrived at the Niamh Louise Foundation!

Our Wednesday morning coffee mornings continue to bring people together each week for a chat and some company ☕

Recently, our members have been getting creative with craft mornings led by our wonderful volunteer Jeanette, making these beautiful autumn wreaths to brighten their homes and celebrate the season 🍂

A big thank you to Jeanette for giving her time and sharing her creativity with our members! 🍂

The Niamh Louise Foundation held their AGM, in our new premises, on Wednesday 14th October 2026.

We sadly said goodbye to our Chairperson Jolene Farrell, as she steps down from her role. Jolene has been a tremendous support to the Foundation and staff, over her 8 years as a volunteer. Her leadership as Chairperson has set an example of how the Foundation will hold its ethos for future years to come. Thank you Jolene. 💜💜

Our new Chairperson, Peter McCammon, presented Jolene with flowers as a thank-you from everyone in the Foundation.
We would light to welcome Peter as our new Chairperson, and three new members to the committee. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all committee members for their hard work and support.

Yesterday, 10th September, marked World Su***de Prevention Day across the globe 💜
We are thinking of all the individuals and families who have been affected by su***de.

To mark World Su***de Prevention Day, we in collaboration with the Royal Hotel, Cookstown, held our highly successful Walk Together in the Prevention of Su***de event. We would like to extend a massive thank you to all those who attended the walk, and helped to raise much needed awareness and funds for the Foundation.

Thank you to all those who helped out with the event in any way, and a particular thanks to The Royal Hotel, Cookstown who organised the walk beginning to end, provided water, and a buffet selection for our walkers to end the evening. We really appreciate your on-going support 💜

Everyone's participation and support of the event was greatly appreciated 💜
