Good afternoon, all, what a lovely day, happy to see the sun.
Do you know anyone who has dementia and are looking for somewhere safe to go to interact with others who are on the same journey.
Abbeyview Day Centre has a café that runs twice a week (Monday & Thursday)
This service is for member and carer/family member.
We provide a safe welcoming environment, speakers on other services that are available along with a light lunch tea and coffee and a range of stimulating activities that help bring everyone together. We also offer one to one with the staff giving you the opportunity to talk freely about any concerns or stresses you may have.
We do currently have vacancies for both days.

Good afternoon all our lovely friends.
We at the centre have the capacity to open at weekend for groups in the area looking for a safe space to run small groups.
This could be craft activities, support groups, classes of that are struggling to find a space.
Please give us a call for more information.

Good afternoon, friends, hope you are all well and enjoy this sunshine. We have spaces available right now for the K.I.T Club and no referral is required for this service. You can utilise this service from any area if you can provide transport to and from the centre. Please share this post.

Day Care: This runs weekdays and provides breakfast, three course lunch and a varied selection of mental and physical activities. These activities are structured around everyone’s needs, we end our day with a cuppa before heading home, the centre closes at 4pm. This service has a charge per session and is invoiced at the beginning of every month. We can provide transport, but this is only in our catchment area. We also have members who provide their own transport or use other transport methods.

K.I.T Club: This service runs on a Tuesday and Friday from 10am till 12.30pm and then in afternoon 1.15 to 3.45, this service is to help combat social isolation and loneliness and is there for members to make friends and be part of the local community. Light refreshments are provided and members make their own way to the centre. There is a charge for this service. No referral form is needed for this service. We have spaces available right now.

Dementia Café: This service is for member with dementia and carer/family member, café runs on Monday and Thursdays from 11am to 1.30pm. This service provides speakers, trips out as a group setting, information on services that could be of benefit along with some fun and social time. Carers can speak one to one with the staff as well as joining in a group discussion. A light lunch is provided, there is a charge for this service.
