Keeping Dunbar RNLI launch-ready 🚤

CWP Energy has funded a new power washer for Dunbar RNLI, helping the crew keep the slipway clear of seaweed and debris.

This vital equipment will improve safety and support the launch of the tractor and inshore lifeboat during training exercises and emergency call-outs.

We're proud to support the incredible volunteers who help save lives at sea. 💙

We're delighted to have been part of this. We hope all the children had a wonderful visit to the Seabird Centre🌊🐙🦐⚓

Through CWP Energy funding, the Scottish Seabird Centre delivered engaging outdoor learning experiences for local primary schools, helping children discover the wildlife on their doorstep and understand the importance of protecting our seas.

We’re proud to support the next generation of Scottish surfing talent!

Through the CWP Energy Community Fund, we’ve awarded £3,000 to Belhaven Surf Club to help local young athletes on their journey to the European Junior Surfing Championships in Ireland this autumn.

The funding will help cover essential travel and accommodation costs for eight talented surfers from Dunbar who have been selected to represent Scotland, an incredible achievement, with the club making up two-thirds of the national team selection. The athletes are also positive role models in their community, volunteering with youth wellbeing initiatives and supporting local beach clean-ups.

Congratulations to everyone at Belhaven Surf Club, and best of luck to the team as they prepare to compete on the European stage!

Did you spot our energy assessor, Eldon, on Saturday driving the tractor at the lifeboat fete? What a great day we had!

We were delighted to support the fete again this year with a donation of £1500. This helped towards the upfront costs of running the event.

We hope everyone had a great day and well done to everyone involved for another successful year!

Although we had massive thunder storms last night, the plants and flowers needed watered at Dunbar Train Station this morning. The wonderful Dunbar Rotary take care of these and as we’re a corporate member it was our turn to water them this week! A job we love doing. Don’t they just look fabulous?!
