Thank you Morrisons! Our pupils are loving their outdoor gym already.

CHILDREN at a Tameside school are set to benefit from a new outdoor gym after receiving a £9,000 grant.

Jonathan Reynolds MP visited Cromwell to celebrate the funding from the Morrisons Foundation – the charitable arm of the supermarket – which will be used to install the new outdoor facility.

A huge thank you to everyone who has sponsored the pupils for their Sponsored Move It last week. It was fantastic to see so many of the pupils taking part in extra sports activities as well as some new ones. Our new outdoor gym has been used so much already...I think we will need to add to it at this rate! Because of the hot weather I know some classes have carried on this week as well to ensure the pupils met their challenge!

We’re moving for a cause! For National Sports Week, all classes will be boosting their school day with at least 30 minutes of extra sports activities to help…

We are absolutely thrilled to unveil our brand-new outdoor fitness and gym equipment, which was successfully installed over the half-term break!

​This amazing new space isn’t just about staying active and healthy; it’s also a fantastic tool to support our pupils with self-regulation.

​This project was made possible thanks to a spectacular £9,000 grant from the Morrisons Foundation, alongside the incredible, ongoing fundraising efforts of our very own Team Cromwell community. We couldn’t have done it without you!

A HUGE thank you once again to High Peak Comps for their generous contribution to our CFest. Four new disco lights for the silent disco and a £25 Morrisons voucher towards the food.
