I’m not sure if anyone has noticed, but I’ve been a tiny bit hyper‑fixated on our community plot lately 🤣
Truth is… my physical and mental health haven’t been great for a while, and this little gardening project has honestly been a lifeline.
There’s something about stepping outside, doing something slow and simple, and being around kind like‑minded people that just helps you breathe again.
And gardening has this quiet magic to it — it supports your wellbeing without you even realising:

And there’s another gentle layer to it too — gardening can support the brain’s natural reward system (which helps my neurodivergent brain).
Those tiny “wins” like planting a seed, noticing a sprout, or finishing a small job can give your mind a little lift. Fresh air, sunlight, curiosity, and having something to look forward to all help your brain feel more motivated, settled, and grounded.
