Some of you may remember Thickett, who was found fending for himself in a garden for an entire week! 🥺💚

Well, this little lad has settled into rescue life beautifully and has certainly made himself at home! He’s got a BIG personality, loves keeping himself busy and is always happy to accept a good head rub. 🥰

Thickett has now been neutered and vaccinated and is ready to find himself a lovely bunny friend! 💕

💙 Meet Huey, Duey & Louie! 🐰

These three gorgeous French Lop boys are growing up fast and are finally booked in for their neuters on 7th November!

They arrived with us in July at just 6 weeks old after a nursery situation went wrong due to incorrectly sexed pairs. Now around 5 months old, they’ve grown into friendly, cheeky boys with lovely personalities.

Having grown up in a large mixed-sex group, they’re brilliantly socialised and can be rehomed with another rabbit from the rescue or bonded with a rabbit already at home.

💜 MEET PANSY – THEN & NOW! 🐹

This week we’ve started photographing some of the girls who came to us from the hoarding situation, and looking back at their arrival photos, it’s lovely to see just how much they’ve changed. 💕

Now they’re no longer constantly pregnant, these girls are looking so much healthier, and it’s wonderful to see them getting the chance to thrive.

Pansy is estimated to be around 2–3 years old and is now looking for a forever home where she can enjoy the life she deserves. 🏡

She can join a suitable guinea pig or herd already in your home, or find a new friend (or friends!) here at the rescue.

We have lots of gorgeous guinea pigs at Lucky Bunny & Friends Rescue waiting to find their forever homes, with ages ranging from just 2 months to 3 years old! 🥰

We have a mixture of neutered boys and girls, with options to suit different homes. Whether you’re looking to bond a new friend with your existing guinea pigs or adopt a ready-made pair or group, we may have the perfect match for you!

🏡 A quick note about accommodation: We do not rehome to hutches. These do not provide sufficient protection from the elements and predators, and we want all our guinea pigs to have safe, secure homes.

💜 WE NEED YOUR HELP! DEHUMIDIFIERS NEEDED! 💜

We’re in desperate need of two new dehumidifiers for our animal rooms! 🐰🐹

One has given up completely, and the other is just about limping along! 😩

Dehumidifiers make such a difference to the air quality for our animals, particularly during the colder months when we’re keeping everyone warm and cosy. Good air quality is so important for keeping our rescue rooms healthy and comfortable.

💜🐰 ME JULIE! HAY FIRST, TREATS AFTER! RESPECT! 😂

Booyakasha! ✌️ It’s me Julie, innit! Back at Lucky Bunny and looking for my forever home!

Sadly, my last home was a bit too busy for me, so I’m looking for a quieter place with a suitable bunny friend and humans who’ll give me time to settle in. 💜

I’m around 12 months old and came from a breeding situation where I was kept in a cramped hutch with other rabbits. I’m a sweet, friendly girl with good bunny social skills, and now it’s time for my happily ever after! 🐰

BUT WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT FOOD! 👀😂

Me Julie has developed a slight addiction to pellets and treats. Apparently, if I look cute enough and pretend I’ve never been fed in me life, some humans will give in! 🥺

“Me hungry! Gizza pellets!”

The cheek of it! 🤣 Back at the rescue, we’re wise to her little tricks. She knows we ain’t falling for it!

So Julie needs an adopter committed to a strict hay and forage-based diet, with pellets and treats kept in their proper place. Someone who knows that “I’m full” doesn’t mean “I can’t possibly eat another thing”… unless it’s chocolate! 😂

Martha is around 2 years old, a curious little soul with a nervous side. She’s looking for a quiet, loving home with a bunny friend or two to help her feel safe, grow in confidence and discover just how lovely life can be. ❤️

🐰💜 BOB MORTIMER NEEDS A SECOND CHANCE! 💜🐰

Oh, Bob! Sadly, his homing has fallen through, and this lovely little chap is back looking for his forever home. 🥺

Named after the one and only Bob Mortimer, we’re sure he has plenty of quirky stories up his sleeve… although we’re still waiting for his appearance on Would I Lie to You? 😂

Bob is around 2 years old and has a runny eye caused by scarring from an old injury and a small tear duct.

💜 The good news? His eye itself is healthy, and the watering doesn’t bother him! After investigations our vets believe it is unlikely to cause future problems, although we can’t guarantee he won’t need veterinary attention in the future.

We’re gutted that this may make finding Bob a home harder. While we have a small number of sanctuary rabbits, we feel Bob would be much better off enjoying life in a loving home rather than spending a long time in rescue simply because his eye waters.

He’s a lovely boy who deserves someone willing to look past a little watery eye and see the wonderful rabbit underneath. 🐰
