Drone Roses WI - Dronfield Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month at 7:30pm. We welcome guests (£5 per meeting x3 per year). Message us here for membership enquiries.

Drone Roses WI was formed for local women who wouldn't have thought the WI was for them. This is a chance to get together every month, make new friends, learn lots of great skills, get involved with local charitable projects, listen to interesting people and have a great night out supporting others and doing things you haven't got the time or space for at home perhaps but above all have lots of fu

n and be part of something good. You may think the WI is not for you - we challenge that view! With your help we can make this new WI into something really special. It's all about you - so be a part of it!!

What a beautiful day we’ve had in the sunshine. Our member Julia Quin hosted a super fundraiser today for Breast Cancer Now which included awareness about regular checks, fun competitions and of course, LOTS of stunning cake! A total of £145 was raised. Well done Drone Roses and thank you so much Julia Quinn for hosting us. 🥰

Our July meeting last week was deliciously good 😋 We were joined by Jo from Chocolates By Design who guided us through a chocolate tasting session and shared lots of facts and figures not only about the finished product, but also the supply chain and various cocoa varieties available. We had so much fun at our meeting this week. We were joined by Claire Butler who told us all about the history and origins of Maypole dancing. We then had a jolly old time dancing around the beautifully assembled maypole that had been erected in the middle of the hall. Great fun and very good exercise!
