Value and Morals

I know I gave these up for an easier life.

Where are you at......?

Mask wearing and managing or shining and being authentically you.

The reality is......no-one is coming to rescue you.

I thought I'd reach a certain age or stage in life and everything would just magically fix itself.

Burying your head in the sand is a temporary fix.

Responsibility.

Honesty.

Accountability.

Integrity.

For me thats what its all about now.

I've fu**ed around with life and created a lot of hurt.

Set that goal. Work towards it. Create the life you want.

✅ ️A free goal setting journal and a pack of pens to get you going.

1 available - will post anywhere.

I've used these many times.

Committing an idea to paper adds gravity to that idea I believe.

Let me know if you want it in the comments and we can go from there - I'll get it posted tomorrow.

6 Weeks Holidays.

Becoming Goal orientated.

Role modelling.

Can you use the return to school as a catalyst for yourself. Role model structure.

I know I'll be adjusting my day to better suit where I am and what I want to achieve.

My son sees that. That becomes the norm.

Squeezing every last bit outdoor the school holidays. Cheeky 24hrs in the Peak District.

Adventuring with your kid(s) builds grit, confidence, and trust that routine simply can’t replicate. Stepping outside strips away distractions, opening up real connection while showing them how to navigate the unexpected with you as their anchor.

Builds Real Grit: Physical challenges and outdoor elements teach kids to stay calm, adapt, and handle discomfort.

Mastering Uncertainty: Facing the unpredictable teaches kids that small setbacks aren't failures, but problems to solve step-by-step.

Instills Preparedness: Involving them in planning and packing builds foresight, spatial awareness, and self-reliance early on.

Deepens Trust & Connection: Tackling the unknown side-by-side opens up natural conversations and proves you're in their corner when things get tough.

When is your next micro, mini or large adventure?

Blue sky after a wet day 🙌🏼

Today has felt like a long time coming.

Co-parenting during the summer holidays can be hard.

My son has been abroad with his Mum and family for 2 weeks. He's lived his best life. I know this as I've had updates and photos.

The weather didn't help with delays and timings for handover, however that is outside of both my hands and their hands.

I'm glad I received the updates. When I asked my son about his favourite part/thing about the holiday, all I got was 'I can't remember'.

I spoke openly about the sadness and frustration of it all whilst offering my son's happiness and excitement of new things as a zoomed out perspective.

We also spoke work, what we enjoy and sticking points.

Holidays.

Adventure.

How good being outside is and how doing things we enjoy can impact our lives.

A shorter night due to holiday prep, however it still happened.

Same time. Same place. Same ethos.

We spoke openly tonight.

Is it right to say nothing, withhold certain truths or lie.

Community spirit - where it comes from, why it happens, who is involved and what happens if it is slowly eroded.

Co-parenting and its complexity during the school holidays. (I'll do a separate post on this, as I feel its important)

A man who doesn't make time for himself will eventually have nothing left to give anyone else. Solitude isn't selfish—it's maintenance.

Why it matters:

• Clear the Noise: Constant demands breed reactive living. Time alone restores intentionality and focus.

• Recharge the Battery: You can't lead, protect, or build on an empty tank. Burnout helps no one.

• Sharpen the Edge: Deep reflection builds self-awareness, emotional resilience, and better decision-making under pressure.

Unplug, step back, and reclaim your time.

What’s one activity you’re locking into your schedule this week just for you? Drop it in the comments.

Honest conversation and freshly squeezed cold lemonade 🍋🥛

Rather warm night.

Talks about....

• where we are at and the small/big wins.
• values and shared values in relationships.
• where you are now and where you want to be and the integrity gap.
• response, approach and role-modelling.
• the need for honest communication in whatever relationship (intimate, work, family etc)

Good night.

Men. Every Thursday. Sindlefingen Calisthenics Gym. 18:00 onwards.
