Last week, Tom visited Jake’s school, Holmer Lake, to deliver an engaging assembly, with lots of great questions from the students! 🙌

Jake loved sharing his experience of the National Games, where he proudly won 🥇 gold in New Age Kurling this year!

Following the assembly, Tom and Jake delivered a fun, inclusive sports session with Jake’s class, giving students the opportunity to try Boccia and New Age Kurling. 🎯

A huge thank you to Holmer Lake for organising a fundraiser and inviting Tom along. We really appreciate your support! 💙

Celebrating Our History: A History of Dwarf Sport – Birmingham and Beyond.

Last night DSAuk staff, trustees, ambassadors, supporters and Paralympians were delighted to attend the launch of A History of Dwarf Sport: Birmingham and Beyond in Birmingham.

Our history is an important part of understanding how far dwarf sport and the wider para sport movement have come. Through determination, resilience and a shared commitment to inclusion, barriers have been challenged, perceptions changed and opportunities created.

We are proud to celebrate the people who helped shape our journey and whose achievements continue to inspire future generations. 💙🧡

A heartfelt thank you to the National Paralympic Heritage Trust for co-creating our online exhibition, the library of Birmingham and everyone who helped make this collaborative launch possible.

Join us at Aldersley Shooting Centre on Saturday 14th November for a day of r***e and pistol training, followed by our age-category competition!

🏆 Training: 10am–12 noon/ Competition: 12pm–2pm
👥 Open to DSAuk full members aged 10+
💷 £10 per person

We were delighted to welcome the Mayor and Mayoress of Wolverhampton to this year’s DSAuk National Boccia Event! Wolverhampton Mayor 🏆

Having the Mayor and Mayoress attend was a wonderful opportunity to showcase the work of Dwarf Sports Association UK and the difference that accessible sport can make to people with dwarfism.

It was fantastic to see them meeting our members, experiencing the atmosphere of the event and seeing first-hand the opportunities DSAuk provides through sport.

We’re incredibly grateful to the Mayor and Mayoress for taking the time to join us and support our members and the work of DSAuk.
