⛷️ DSAuk South East Region – Final Ski Session of 2026! 🎿 Xscape Milton Keynes

What an amazing way to finish our 2026 ski sessions! Yesterday we had a record-breaking 20 children and 7 fantastic instructors taking part. 🙌

We had an incredible range of groups on the slopes, including:
⛷️ 2 sit-skiers
🏂 A group of snowboarders
🎿 An advanced ski group, Lower and upper intermediate group and beginner group

It was fantastic to see so many children enjoying the snow, developing their skills and having fun together. A huge thank you to all our amazing instructors, families and, of course, the children who made the session so special.

👀 Get a first look at our newest exhibition!

“A History of Dwarf Sport: Birmingham and Beyond” celebrates the history and achievements of the DSAuk.

Developed in partnership with the National Paralympic Heritage Trust, the exhibition is free to visit at the Library of Birmingham until 28 October 2026.

Brilliant sailing at the National Sailing Academy, with sunshine and perfect wind conditions for heading out into Weymouth Bay. 🌊⛵️

📖 Across the Field — August Edition

As the summer holidays come to an end, it’s been another busy and exciting month at DSAuk! 🌟

From meeting with partners and strengthening our relationships, to becoming compliant with new safeguarding procedures, there’s been plenty happening behind the scenes. 🤝

As everyone heads back to school, college and university, we want to wish all our members the very best of luck for the new term! 🎒📚 You’ve got this! 💪💙

And finally… we’re getting very excited for our Boccia Tournament early next month, with an incredible 100 competitors taking part...let the scheduling begin.

⚽️ DWARFISM FOOTBALL IS BACK! ⚽️

We’re excited to be heading back to Fulham FC Training Ground, Motspur Park for our next Dwarfism Football Session! 🙌

📅 Saturday 12th September 2026
⏰ 11:00am – 12:30pm
📍 Fulham FC Training Ground, Motspur Park
👥 Ages 5+ through to adults with dwarfism

Delivered in partnership with Fulham FC Foundation, the session is a fantastic opportunity to get involved in football in a safe, inclusive and supportive environment. Whether you're taking your first steps into football or you're already an experienced player, everyone is welcome! ⚽️

Players will have the chance to:
⭐ Develop their football skills
💪 Build confidence
🤝 Meet other players with dwarfism
⚽️ Enjoy playing football as part of a team
🙌 Make new friends and have fun!

The session takes place in an indoor 3G dome, so please bring a water bottle, suitable footwear and shin pads. Goalkeeper gloves are also welcome if you fancy a spell between the sticks! 🧤

⛳ Golf Taster Day in Partnership with England Golf 🏌️‍♂️

Join us for a fantastic day of golf, expert coaching and fun activities for full members with dwarfism.

The morning will start with coaching from Jack Shephard and Krysten Coombs, followed by an afternoon on the golf simulator, which is included in the cost.

Members can also take part in the Par 3 Course for an additional £12.50, payable on the day.

💷 Cost: £5 per person, payable when signing up
🥪 Lunch: Provided

ONE WEEK TO ENTER! 🏆 Boccia Tournament Entries Are OPEN!

The Dwarf Sports Association UK Annual Boccia Tournament is back! We’re excited to welcome athletes to join us on Saturday 3rd & Sunday 4th October at Aldersley Leisure Village, Wolverhampton for a fantastic weekend of competition, fun and community.

📅 Dates: Saturday 3rd & Sunday 4th October
📍 Venue: Aldersley Leisure Village, Wolverhampton
🏅 Events: Singles, Doubles & Teams (time permitting)
⏰ Entries close: Friday 21st August at 4:00pm

🏨 Accommodation

Hotel accommodation can be booked through the entry form and includes Bed & Breakfast.

Evening meals will also be available to purchase from the hotel's bar menu, so there will be an option to grab something to eat after the day's competition.
