Want to help animals, but don't want to break the bank? 💷

Well, we have just launched our £1 a week! An incentive to help our centre, without hurting your pockets. You can change an animals life today, by giving just £1. 🤔

Animals have created great comfort to many of us over our lifetimes and many are still being subjected to cruelty and neglect on a daily basis. They comforted us through Covid, and many have been discarded to animal centre since. Here's your way of giving back to them.

Help us rehabilitate, and rehome animals that have been through the traumas of being neglected.

For just £1 a week, £52 a year, your donation can help vaccinate, and microchip an animal ready for their new home. Not just that, but if we have 100 people donate £1 a week for 1 month, that is £400 helping cover a big chunk of our medical bills. 🥰

✨ Spaniel x Beagle Pups- Crossbreed - 14 weeks - 3 Males & 2 Females

These five gorgeous pups are little bundles of joy who are ready to find their forever homes!

Like all puppies, they're still learning about the world and will need ongoing training, guidance, and patience as they grow into happy, well-rounded adult dogs. They love human company and enjoy plenty of playtime, cuddles and adventures.

They could live with other dogs pending a successful introduction here at the centre. They also may be able to live with dog-savvy cats and children of any age who are comfortable with big, bouncy pups.

National Microchipping Day! ✨
Did you know we offer low-cost microchipping? Well, we certainly do!

Our staff are trained to microchip dogs, cats and rabbits, and we offer this service at a lower cost to help the general public.

As of the 10th June 2024, it is a legal requirement for BOTH dogs and cats to be microchipped and for it to be registered to their legal owner. We do still see animals come to our centre without a microchip, and if you are caught, then it is a £500 fine.

Supporter Sunday! ✨
We recently visited Warmsworth School and held a couple of presentations with their Year 1 classes. We played "Guess the animal", and there were certainly some animal lovers in attendance! 🥰

In turn, the classes gave us a huge donation of food for our current residents. We wanted to say a massive thank you! Our dogs, cats and small animals will be very happy with all the goodies we received.

We are looking at getting out into our local community a lot more frequently, so hopefully we will see a lot of new faces.

Forever Home Friday ✨
Our sweet little man, Bandit. He came to us as an injured stray and needed some extra TLC before being made available for adoption. His recovery was quick, but did sustain a long-term injury to one of his legs. 😓

But that didn't stop his adopters from falling in love with him. And who can blame them? Look at that handsome face! 🥹

Well, we have recently had an update from his adopters, letting us know how he is getting on:
"He’s settling in well and getting on well with our older cat. As advised, he’s found being in a house different to the shelter - he’s loving sofas to sit on and having a windowsill to watch the birds from, and he takes great delight in a flying leap onto the bed for a cuddle. He loves a toy ( a particular favourite is the one your volunteer gifted him as a goodbye present), and he takes great delight in biting through the string of any dangly toys. He’s getting to know his new sister, our older cat, at a pace that suits her, and this morning we had our first snuggle-up moment with the two of them, which has melted our hearts. He’s settled into family life really well and has joined the local neighbourhood watch. He likes nothing better than supervising goings on from a window sill."

Our new Tickhill charity shop has its grand opening tomorrow!
